2020 Annual Report To The Community

A year apart, together.

2020 Carson Tahoe Health Annual Report

A community is only as strong as those within it. Luckily, we are blessed to live in a place where we truly care about each other – a place that still believes in the golden rule and that perseveres even in the most challenging of times. If there’s one thing that 2020 has taught us, it’s that living apart can’t stop us from living well. At Carson Tahoe, we’ve been keeping true to our mission every day, as we continue to evolve, improve and explore new ways to connect with our community and keep it thriving. Learn more about how we adjusted to an unprecedented year.

Strengthen the Core

We are dedicated to excellence with a goal of continually improving quality, safety, access, and efficiency. Not only do we strive to create an environment where we are inspired daily to accomplish our mission, but we desire to be the preferred health partner for the communities we serve. Our core will grow stronger every day as we learn to be better stewards of our community’s wellness.

Inspire Community

We will be a spark that inspires all members of our community to embrace their health and well-being. By engaging with partners to address the barriers of health and wellness like access to education, economic stability, food insecurity and availability of community support systems, we can offer our entire community an equal opportunity to live the healthiest life possible – and ultimately be a positive force for change in our region.

Transform & Innovate

We will champion new technologies, be pioneers of innovative thinking, and explore unique care models to revolutionize the health of our community. Together, we will implement the latest technology and transform healthcare by seeking new ways to communicate, collaborate and create a better healthcare experience.

COVID

It was certainly a year that will go down in history. From surges to shutdowns, Carson Tahoe quickly pivoted to respond to the pandemic. And pivoted. And pivoted. It turns out that the best plan is to have one, but be flexible so you can learn and adapt.
